What is CVE-2021-31780?
In MISP version 2.4.141, a vulnerability exists in the app/Model/MispObject.php file, where an incorrect sharing group association can result in unintended information exposure during the editing of events. When an object is tied to a specific sharing group, the system fails to properly utilize this association. Instead, it improperly renames the associated sharing group's data with a passed local ID, potentially granting unauthorized access to sensitive information within the event.
