What is CVE-2021-31826?

Shibboleth Service Provider versions prior to 3.2.2 are affected by a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability associated with the session recovery feature. This vulnerability can be exploited by providing a specially crafted cookie, leading to a crash of the daemon on systems that are not utilizing this feature.
