What is CVE-2021-32012?

The identified vulnerability in SheetJS and SheetJS Pro allows attackers to exploit a crafted .xlsx document leading to memory exhaustion. This is due to improper handling of the document by the xlsx.js library. When an attacker inputs a specially crafted spreadsheet, it can disrupt the normal operation of the software by consuming significant memory resources, potentially resulting in service outages.
