What is CVE-2021-33057?

The QQ mobile application version 8.7.1 for both Android and iOS platforms has a significant flaw related to its permission enforcement for accessing the device's physical location. This vulnerability allows an attacker to exploit the qq.createMapContext method to gain unauthorized access to the user's location. By utilizing MapContext.moveToLocation and MapContext.getCenterLocation functions, malicious actors can manipulate the map context to disclose the device's exact latitude and longitude coordinates. This raises serious concerns regarding user privacy and could lead to potential misuse of sensitive location data.
