What is CVE-2021-33358?

A security vulnerability has been identified in the RaspAP Web GUI versions 2.3 to 2.6.5. This flaw exists in the handling of the 'interface', 'ssid', and 'wpa_passphrase' POST parameters in the hostapd module, where special characters like ';' or '()' can be exploited. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary OS commands by manipulating these inputs, potentially leading to unauthorized access or control of the underlying system.
