What is CVE-2021-33592?

The NAVER Toolbar versions prior to 4.0.30.323 contain a vulnerability that enables remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This is achieved by supplying a specially crafted 'upgrade.xml' file that exploits a weakness in how the product handles certain characters in the filename parameter. By circumventing the code signing verification process, attackers can gain unauthorized access and control over affected systems.
