Arbitrary Code Execution Vulnerability in D-Link DAP-2020 Router
CVE-2021-34861
8.8HIGH
What is CVE-2021-34861?
A critical security flaw in the D-Link DAP-2020 router allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability stems from inadequate validation of the length of user-supplied data at the 'webproc' endpoint, which operates on TCP port 80 by default. This oversight permits attackers to exploit the buffer handling, resulting in code execution at the root level without the need for any authentication.
