What is CVE-2021-35492?

The vulnerability in Wowza Streaming Engine can be exploited by an authenticated remote attacker through the Virtual Host Monitoring section. By requesting historical data for virtual hosts using the vulnerable parameter, an attacker can exhaust filesystem resources. This resource exhaustion may lead to database errors and render the web management interface unresponsive, requiring manual intervention to restore the application to a functional state.
