What is CVE-2021-36154?

The gRPC Swift framework prior to version 1.1.1 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability. This flaw allows remote attackers to exploit the system by sending a multitude of small messages within a single HTTP/2 frame, resulting in uncontrolled recursion and stack consumption. This can lead to systems becoming unresponsive, causing significant interruptions to service availability. Developers and system administrators are encouraged to review their implementations and update to the latest version to mitigate potential risks.
