What is CVE-2021-36366?

An improper access control vulnerability exists in Nagios XI that allows unauthorized users to exploit the manage_services.sh script through wildcard inputs. This could lead to unintended operations being executed on the server, compromising the integrity and security of the environment. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to upgrade to Nagios XI version 5.8.5 or later, where this issue has been addressed.
