What is CVE-2021-38112?

A vulnerability in the AWS WorkSpaces client for Windows versions 3.0.10 through 3.1.8 allows for remote code execution through argument injection in the workspaces:// URI handler. This security flaw stems from the improper handling of the --gpu-launcher argument within the Chromium Embedded Framework, which can be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code. This issue has been addressed in version 3.1.9.
