What is CVE-2021-40345?

A command injection vulnerability exists in Nagios XI 5.8.5 within the Manage Dashlets section of the Admin panel. This issue allows an attacker to upload ZIP files and craft the name of the first file in such a way that system commands can be executed. This exploit can lead to unauthorized actions on the server, resulting in potential data compromise and disruption of service.
