What is CVE-2021-40388?

A privilege escalation vulnerability found in Advantech SQ Manager Server 1.0.6 allows an attacker to escalate privileges to NT SYSTEM authority through a specially-crafted file. By replacing a file in the system with a malicious variant, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability, gaining unauthorized access and control over system resources.
