What is CVE-2021-40874?
A vulnerability exists in LemonLDAP::NG version 2.0.13 related to the RESTServer plug-in. This issue allows an attacker to exploit the password validation service by using the Kerberos authentication method combined with the Combination authentication plug-in. As a result, any given password could be incorrectly validated as legitimate for any existing user, posing a significant security risk for systems utilizing this configuration.
