What is CVE-2021-41304?

Atlassian's Jira Server and Data Center are susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that enables anonymous remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript into the system via the error message located at /secure/admin/ImporterFinishedPage.jspa. This flaw exists in versions prior to 8.13.12 and from 8.14.0 up to but not including 8.20.2, potentially allowing for exploitation that could compromise user data and application integrity.
