What is CVE-2021-4207?

A vulnerability has been identified in the QXL display device emulation within QEMU, where double fetching of guest-controlled values for cursor dimensions can lead to a heap-based buffer overflow. An attacker with privileged access in the guest environment may exploit this issue to cause the QEMU process on the host to crash or to execute arbitrary code within the QEMU process, posing significant risks to the host system's integrity and security.
