What is CVE-2021-42165?
MitraStar GPT-2541GNAC-N1 devices are susceptible to a vulnerability that allows remote authenticated users to gain root access. This is due to inadequate sanitization of the 'path' parameter when executing the command 'deviceinfo show file &&/bin/bash'. Attackers exploiting this flaw can command the device with elevated privileges, creating significant security risks.
