What is CVE-2021-42751?

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Rule Engine of ThingsBoard version 3.3.1. This flaw allows remote attackers with administrative privileges to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code within the description of a rule node. Exploiting this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized actions being performed within the application, potentially compromising the integrity of the system and exposing sensitive information.
