What is CVE-2021-42837?

An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in Talend Data Catalog which allows any valid user from an external SAML/OAuth provider to authenticate without proper verification on the native login page. This flaw can be exploited by providing any username from the SAML/OAuth provider along with an arbitrary password, resulting in successful login. Organizations utilizing versions prior to 7.3-20210930 should assess their risk and apply necessary updates to safeguard their data.
