Summary

An improper neutralization of input during web page generation in certain versions of FortiOS and FortiProxy exposes users to potential XSS attacks. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP GET requests, leading to an unauthorized execution of scripts in the context of the user's session. This allows attackers to manipulate user interactions or steal sensitive information.

Affected Version(s)

Fortinet FortiProxy FortiOS version 7.0.3 and below, 6.4.8 and below, 6.2.10 and below, 6.0.14 to 6.0.0. FortiProxy version 7.0.1 and below, 2.0.7 to 2.0.0.
