What is CVE-2021-43257?

A security flaw exists in MantisBT versions prior to 2.25.3 that affects the CSV API. This vulnerability allows unprivileged attackers to exploit the lack of proper neutralization of formula elements in CSV files. When a user opens the generated CSV file (csv_export.php) in Excel, an attacker can potentially execute arbitrary code or access sensitive information, leading to unauthorized actions.
