CVE-2021-43281
7.2HIGH
What is CVE-2021-43281?
MyBB Forum Software prior to version 1.8.29 contains a vulnerability that allows an admin with appropriate permissions to perform remote code injection. The Settings management module fails to properly validate the types of settings during insertion and updates. This oversight allows the addition of settings of the type 'php', enabling the execution of arbitrary PHP code on the Change Settings pages, thereby undermining the security of the application.
