What is CVE-2021-44255?

An authenticated remote code execution vulnerability in MotionEye versions up to 0.42.1 and MotionEyeOS versions up to 20200606 allows attackers to upload a malicious configuration backup file. This backup file can contain a crafted Python pickle file, enabling the execution of arbitrary code on the affected server. It poses significant risks for users running these software versions, as it may lead to unauthorized access and manipulation of the server environment.
