What is CVE-2021-44401?
A vulnerability in the JSON command parser functionality of the cgiserver.cgi in the Reolink RLC-410W allows an attacker to exploit the system by sending a specially-crafted HTTP request. This attack can cause the device to reboot unexpectedly due to the mishandling of the PtzCtrl parameter, which is not processed as an object. As a result, users of the affected version are at risk of service disruption.
