What is CVE-2021-44677?

A vulnerability was identified in Veritas Enterprise Vault that allows attackers to exploit deserialization behavior in .NET Remoting TCP services. During startup, multiple services listen on randomized TCP ports, potentially exposing the system to malicious commands.
