What is CVE-2021-44852?

A security flaw in the Biostar RACING GT Evo driver (BS_RCIO64.sys) permits low-integrity processes to access the driver's device object, allowing them to issue IOCTL commands. This can result in unauthorized reading or writing to arbitrary memory locations or calling arbitrary code, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability is associated with specific IOCTL codes, including 0x226040, 0x226044, and 0x226000, which can be exploited to gain elevated privileges and execute malicious actions on the affected system.
