What is CVE-2021-45096?

The KNIME Analytics Platform prior to version 4.5.0 is susceptible to an External XML Entity (XXE) injection through the use of crafted workflow files (.knwf). This could allow an attacker to manipulate the XML processing to access sensitive data or perform unauthorized actions within the application. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to update to the latest version where this vulnerability has been addressed.
