What is CVE-2021-47746?

The NodeBB Plugin Emoji version 3.2.1 is vulnerable to an arbitrary file write flaw that permits users with administrative privileges to exploit the emoji upload API. This can be achieved through specially crafted file upload requests, allowing attackers to perform directory traversal and overwrite critical system files by manipulating the file path parameter. Consequently, this vulnerability poses significant security risks to the server environment.
