What is CVE-2021-47823?

The Acer ePowerSvc version 6.0.3008.0 is susceptible to an unquoted service path vulnerability. This flaw can be exploited by local users to run arbitrary code with elevated permissions. When the service is started, the misconfigured path in the service settings can allow an attacker to insert malicious payloads that execute with LocalSystem privileges, presenting a significant security risk. Administrators must address this issue by ensuring proper configurations are in place to mitigate potential exploitation.
