Event Log Explorer version 4.9.3 is affected by an unquoted service path vulnerability, which can allow local users to gain elevated system privileges. An attacker can exploit this flaw by placing malicious executables in specific directories. When the service restarts, these executables may run with LocalSystem account privileges, potentially enabling unauthorized code execution and compromising system integrity.
