What is CVE-2021-47945?

The Argus Surveillance DVR 4.0 is susceptible to a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to an unquoted service path in the DVRWatchdog service. Attackers can exploit this flaw by placing a malicious executable in the Program Files directory. Upon starting the service, the malicious executable is executed with LocalSystem privileges, allowing attackers to gain unauthorized control over the system.
