What is CVE-2021-48016?

DedeCMS versions up to 5.8.1-beta are susceptible to a PHP code injection vulnerability found in the ShowMsg() function. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit the system by sending a malicious HTTP Referer header to the endpoint /plus/flink.php?dopost=save with an empty validation code. This can lead to unauthorized execution of arbitrary PHP code and system commands, compromising the integrity and security of the web application. The potential impact is serious, as it exposes systems to exploitation by remote attackers.

Affected Version(s)

DedeCMS 0 <= 5.8.1-beta

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
