What is CVE-2022-21380?
A vulnerability exists in the MySQL Cluster component of Oracle MySQL that allows a high-privileged attacker to potentially compromise the MySQL Cluster. This difficulty in exploiting the vulnerability requires the attacker to have physical access to the hardware where the MySQL Cluster operates, alongside necessary human interaction from a user other than the attacker. If successfully executed, the attack may lead to unauthorized takeover of the MySQL Cluster, impacting confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the database.
