What is CVE-2022-22980?

A vulnerability exists in Spring Data MongoDB applications that utilize SpEL (Spring Expression Language) expressions in @Query or @Aggregation-annotated methods. If the inputs provided to these expressions, which include query parameter placeholders, are not properly sanitized, it could allow an attacker to craft malicious inputs, potentially leading to unauthorized data access or manipulation.
