What is CVE-2022-24980?

A vulnerability in the Kitodo.Presentation extension for TYPO3 allows an unauthenticated individual to exploit a missing access check within an eID script. This flaw enables the submission of arbitrary URLs, leading to a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attack. Consequently, attackers might gain unauthorized access to view the contents of files or web pages accessible to the web server, potentially exposing sensitive information.
