What is CVE-2022-25188?
The Jenkins Fortify Plugin versions up to 20.2.34 contain a vulnerability where the appName and appVersion parameters are not properly sanitized. An attacker with Item/Configure permission could exploit this flaw to write or overwrite .xml files on the Jenkins controller file system. This could potentially lead to the injection of malicious content, enabling unauthorized access or compromising the integrity of the Jenkins environment.
