What is CVE-2022-27238?

BigBlueButton version 2.4.7 and earlier is susceptible to a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in its private chat feature. This flaw allows attackers to embed malicious JavaScript within their usernames. When a private message is sent, or when notifications about the attacker’s status changes are displayed, the injected script executes in the victim's browser, potentially compromising their security.
