What is CVE-2022-28352?

WeeChat versions 3.2 through 3.4 prior to 3.4.1 are susceptible to an improper certificate validation issue that arises when users modify certain GnuTLS settings without restarting the application. This flaw enables man-in-the-middle attackers to present arbitrary certificates, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data interception during TLS connections to chat servers.
