What is CVE-2022-30272?

The Motorola ACE1000 RTU exhibits a significant vulnerability due to improper handling of firmware integrity. This flaw allows attackers to update firmware without proper authentication controls, as the system relies solely on insecure checksums instead of robust signing mechanisms.
