What is CVE-2022-31205?

Omron's CS, CJ, and CP series PLCs, as of May 18, 2022, have a security flaw where the password required to access the Web UI is stored in specific memory locations. This information can be retrieved using the Omron FINS protocol without any additional authentication measures. As a result, this vulnerability could allow unauthorized users to gain access to sensitive control systems.
