What is CVE-2022-34670?
The NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer handler, which enables unprivileged users to exploit truncation errors. When a primitive data type is cast to another of smaller size, it may cause data loss during the conversion process. This vulnerability can lead to potential denial of service and unauthorized information disclosure.
