What is CVE-2022-35537?

WAVLINK wireless routers including models WN572HP3, WN533A8, WN530H4, WN535G3, and WN531P3 contain a command injection vulnerability in the wireless.cgi script. This issue arises due to a lack of input filtering on the 'mac_5g' and 'Newname' parameters, which can allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the router.
