What is CVE-2022-37061?

The FLIR AX8 thermal sensor cameras, up to and including version 1.46.16, are subject to a Remote Command Injection vulnerability. This flaw allows an attacker to send crafted HTTP POST requests to the res.php endpoint, specifically utilizing the 'id' parameter to execute arbitrary shell commands with root privileges on the device's underlying operating system. The potential for unauthorized access and system manipulation raises serious security concerns for users of this product.
