What is CVE-2022-37429?

The Silverstripe Framework through version 4.11 is susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw allows attackers to insert malicious JavaScript payloads into the href attribute of links by exploiting whitespace characters to split JavaScript URLs. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may lead to hijacking user sessions, redirecting users to malicious sites, or executing arbitrary code in the context of the user's browser.
