What is CVE-2022-39139?
A vulnerability exists in certain versions of Parasolid and Simcenter Femap, which allows for an out-of-bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer when parsing specially crafted X_T files. This could enable an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process, potentially compromising system integrity. Users running affected versions are strongly advised to update to the latest security patches to mitigate this risk.
