What is CVE-2022-39148?

A vulnerability has been discovered in the Siemens Parasolid and Simcenter Femap products that allows for an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer. This issue occurs during the parsing of specially crafted X_T files. If successfully exploited, this vulnerability could enable an attacker to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application, posing a significant security risk.
