What is CVE-2022-39858?
A path traversal vulnerability exists in the AtBroadcastReceiver component of Samsung's FactoryCamera, prior to version 3.5.51. This flaw allows attackers to manipulate the file paths, enabling them to write arbitrary files with FactoryCamera privileges. As a result, unauthorized access or modifications to sensitive data might occur, posing significant security risks. Users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate these risks.
