What is CVE-2022-39986?

A command injection flaw in RaspAP from versions 2.8.0 to 2.8.7 presents a significant risk as it permits unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This vulnerability is triggered through the cfg_id parameter in specific AJAX endpoints, namely /ajax/openvpn/activate_ovpncfg.php and /ajax/openvpn/del_ovpncfg.php. Attackers exploiting this weakness may gain control of the affected application, leading to unauthorized actions and potential network compromises.
