Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer by SAP
CVE-2022-41191
7.8HIGH
Summary
A vulnerability exists in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer due to insufficient memory management practices. When a user opens a specially crafted Jupiter Tesselation (.jt, JTReader.x3d) file from untrusted sources, it may result in remote code execution. This occurs as a result of a stack-based overflow or the reuse of a dangling pointer that points to overwritten memory space, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code on the affected system.
