What is CVE-2022-42430?

This vulnerability permits local attackers to escalate their privileges on specific Tesla vehicles by exploiting a flaw in the handling of the wowlan_config data structure. The vulnerability arises from inadequate validation processes for object existence prior to operations, enabling attackers who can execute privileged code to gain elevated access and execute arbitrary commands within the root context of the vehicle's operating system.
